Getting Started with ODL Securities.

Before you can use ODL Securities’ physical foreign exchange service you will need to open an account.

Once this has been confirmed you will be able to place an order and buy your currency.

Once your trade has been booked, you will be sent confirmation detailing the transaction.  If your transaction is a forward contract this confirmation will also contain all the information needed by your bank in order to be able to transfer the outstanding funds to ODL Securities.  You will need to instruct your bank to make a CHAPS (same day) transfer to ODL Securities’ client account.

Finally, you will need to inform ODL Securities of the account details of where you would like your currency to be sent.  The delivery time will depend on the currency that has been bought, and then when your currency reaches ODL Securities to pay for it.

We will send you confirmation of the onward transfer as soon as your funds have been sent out by us.
